If you’ve been following along with our Disneyland Paris adventure, we’ve covered the Disneyland Hotel, our time in Disneyland Park and Disney World of Adventure, and everything we ate during our trip.
So, this blog post jumps into the “other stuff,” and what we discovered is that the one thing most of it had in common was interesting art unique to multiple areas of Disneyland Paris.
Hopefully, this makes more sense as we dive in and share lots of images.
Disneyland Paris
There is no doubt that the architecture, theming, and decor aspects of Disneyland Paris are exceptional.
Having spent so many hours in parks at Walt Disney World, we have both gained a deep appreciation for the “other.”
These uniquely placed art installations and enhanced decorations, often in retail locations, are easy to miss if you don’t look up.
Central Plaza
Central Plaza, often referred to as The HUB, is the roundabout directly in front of Disney castles, with spokes leading off into each of the lands of the park.
Directly in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park Paris, we found a whole collection of kinetic-style metal sculptures.
We’ve read that they were created for the 30th anniversary celebration, which would have been in 2023. However, these were still there in May of 2025.
They’re really interesting, and we hope they are a permanent fixture.
Sir Mickey’s Boutique
Located in Fantasyland, Sir Mickey’s Boutique brings to life the classic Disney short stories of Brave Little Tailor and Mickey and the Beanstalk.
We love the huge beanstalk vines trailing across the ceiling and throughout the store. If you look up, you may catch a glimpse of Willie the Giant peeking into the store!

The Cottage of Seven Dwarfs
The Cottage of Seven Dwarfs, or La Chaumière des Sept Nains in French, is also located in Fantasyland.
The retail store is elevated and features several hidden gems. As always, look up! Pegs in a wooden beam showcase mugs with each of the seven dwarfs’ names on them.
Most people are too busy looking at the Disney figures to realize they are resting on the beds of the seven dwarfs. How’s your French? Which three dwarfs are featured here?
Disney & Co.
Heading back down Main Street USA, you’ll find Disney & Co. Yet another retail location with fun theming.
It’s hard to miss the giant hot air balloon up in the rafters. Obviously, Chuck spied Goofy. But floating right next to him, you’ll find Mickey, Minnie, and Donald!
The Storybook Store
Also along Main Street USA, you’ll find The Storybook Store. The ceiling is lined with vintage-style bookshelves, library ladders, and a host of Disney characters.
The Lego Store
Exiting Disneyland Park, we crossed through Disney Village.
If you’ve seen our previous blog post “Eating at Disneyland Paris,” then you’ll know this is Disneyland Paris’ version of Disney Springs in WDW. It’s just steps away from both Disneyland Paris parks and several hotels.
On night one, waiting for our dinner reservation, we wandered into the Lego Store. We thought the Lego characters on display were incredible!
Random Weird Stuff
Our cardiologist here in Merida is a Lego JUNKIE! The waiting room and office is filled with Lego sculptures, including a giant Eiffel Tower, a Japanese castle, and dozens of others, some of them with lights inside them!
Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel
Crossing through Disney Village, we took a stroll over to the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. It’s only a ten-minute easy stroll from our hotel at the entrance to Disneyland Park.

This section goes out to our friends Michelle and Josie who will be staying at this hotel. They are dear friends, mother and daughter. We met more than fifteen years ago on a Disney cruise!
We’re not Marvel fans; actually, we’re not Marvel junkies. We’ve seen lots of Marvel movies and know plenty of characters. We don’t know much history or where storylines cross and connect.
More Random Weird Stuff
Scott Hanna, who has inked Marvel characters for more than thirty years, was a regular in Mark’s former restaurant. While we chatted quite a bit, and freqiently saw him’ doodle’, somehow we rarely discussed his art.
The hotel is gorgeous and modern. It feels like New York; the architecture is sleek, with clean lines and incredible artwork. We sat for a drink and popped into the gift shop, and it was very comfortable.

We really enjoyed the incredible artwork and memorabilia displays. They have also installed a few fun photo ops.
The End
This concludes our four-day visit to Disneyland Paris – we think there is one more blog post in this trip that will cover the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Stay tuned!

Thanks for sharing all the details to look for at in and around Disneyland Paris. We will be there in just over a month and staying at Disney Hotel New York. I’m not a big Marvel fan, but Dave is so this is for him!
YAY, we love sharing our trips with family and friends. However, people who get something from what we share that is helpful on their travels makes us happy! Safe travels, and enjoy!
Very cool! Thanks so much for the mention, dates open for booking Sept 2027 in about 1 more week or so. I can’t wait! The Marvel hotel looks very cool and I would love to visit that skyline bar. Looks like you had both had an awesome trip to Disneyland Paris!!!
Glad you enjoyed the shout out! We thought you’d enjoy the Marvel artwork.
