‘m Mark {on the right} and Chuck {the one with the beard} is my better half. We LOVE new experiences, meeting new people, and trying new foods.
In 2002 we met online and later on, exchanged rings to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our 1st date {thinking we would never be able to get married}. We married on Wednesday, October 28, 2015; the 13th anniversary of our first date. Yes, we got married on a Wednesday.
We are originally from the Philadelphia area, moved to Florida near Walt Disney World in 2012, and over to the coast in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2017.
We both retired in April of 2022 and in May moved to Merida, Mexico, the capital of the state of Yucatan.
Chuck worked in IT in the pharmaceutical industry and is an avid cyclist. He’s done a charity bike ride from Maimi to Key West several times.
I’m a classically trained chef and owned my own wedding planning company in Philadelphia. {I’m 1 of 47 Master Wedding Planners in the world} and most recently worked as a freelance writer and ghost blogger for the wedding industry.
You’ll see that our blogs are more than just sightseeing and reviews, we love interacting with locals, we’re both foodies and book food tours wherever we can.
But, regardless, we’ll always share about our adventures, who we meet, and what we eat.
We wish we had thought to start this blog when we first started our travels, but I guess it’s never too late.
We’re having fun and doing new things, we don’t want to grow up….. so our blog title more than fits our life and journey.
