One of our travel goals is to see the 7 Modern Wonders of the World.
So far we have seen the Coliseum in Rome, Chichen Itza in Mexico, Great Wall in China and this trip we will be checking off the Taj Mahal. Later this year we will be going to South America to see Machu Picchu.
Since we were flying out of Miami this trip we decided to drive down the night before to reduce the stress of driving to Miami the day of. We stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham this time. It was an ok hotel, clean and close to the airport. The room was very small and they put us right by the road. Ok for one night but that would be it. We did ask for a late checkout so we were able to stay in the room until 2:00.
We dropped the car off at the lot and took the shuttle over to the airport. Checkin was quick and painless with a very short line at security. We headed over to the Lufthansa lounge and were able to relax and have lunch before the flight. Our flight was delayed 15 minutes and thankfully that was it since we only had an hour and 25-minute layover in Munich.
Our seats were amazing and very comfortable, flying business class has its benefits. With my back and leg problems, we bite the bullet on the seats, otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to travel very far.
We both felt like there was just WAY too much food on our Lufthansa flights, however, the selection and quality were just OK compared to Business Class on other airlines.
Appetizers:

Entrees:

The shrimp was lacking flavor, the chicken was horrible and yes, the two pasta dishes were pretty much the same.
It’s sad that the highlight of the meal was the chocolates at the end.
Lufthansa score for our flights:
Service – A+ first leg / B- second leg
Seating: A
Food: B-
But then you’re comparing airline food to the wonderful, flavorful Indian cuisine…is that fair? 😂😂😂 Glad you had comfy seats…that’s my pet peeve!
Anxious to read more. Love traveling with you.
Actually, we compared Lufthansa food to British Airways food on our last trip – should have been pretty much apples to apples.
