I’m Mark {on the right} and Chuck {the one with the beard} is my better half. We LOVE new experiences, meeting new people, and trying new foods.
We met in 2002, and exchanged rings to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our 1st date {thinking we would never be able to get married}. We married on Wednesday, October 28, 2015; the 16th anniversary of our first date. Yes, we got married on a Wednesday.
We are originally from the Philadelphia area, moved to Florida near Walt Disney World in 2013 and over to the coast in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida in 2017.
Chuck works in IT in the pharmaceutical industry and is an avid cyclist. He’s done a charity bike ride from Maimi to Key West several times.
I’m a classically trained chef and owned my own wedding planning company in Philadelphia. {I’m 1 of 57 Master Wedding Planners in the world} I currently work as a freelance writer and ghost blogger for the wedding industry.
You’ll see that our blogs are more than just sightseeing and reviews, we love interacting with locals, we’re both foodies and book food tours wherever we can.
But, regardless, we’ll always share about our adventures, who we meet, and what we eat.
We wish we had thought to start this blog when we first started our travels, but I guess it’s never too late.
We want to have fun and do new things, we don’t want to grow up….. so our blog title more than fits our life and journey.
