After a hot day of sightseeing, we headed back to our hotel for a little free time. We ventured into the neighborhood for a little lunch. Our guide told us about a little street front place serving duck noodle soup. Deep rich broth, tender roasted duck, wide noodles, sprouts, and green onion.

Wat Pho and the Reclining Buddha
Wat Pho is a royal monastery and temple built during the first reign of Chakri. King Rama, had it constructed in 1656. The Reclining Buddha is made of brick and stucco and then lacquered and gilded. It is 46 meters long by 15 meters high.
